She has since continued her postgraduate education extensively, completing further qualifications in periodontics, restorative and aesthetic dentistry, leadership and management, employment law and menopause coaching.Clinically, Poppy has a particular interest in periodontal health, implant maintenance and supporting patients to understand the relationship between their oral health and their wider wellbeing. She enjoys working with patients over the long term, helping them to feel comfortable, informed and involved in their care.
Alongside clinical practice, Poppy works nationally as a dental business and clinical consultant, supporting dental practices to develop their periodontal services, patient pathways and clinical teams. She is Dean of the Board of the Faculty of Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy at the College of General Dentistry and is actively involved in developing opportunities, education and professional recognition for dental hygienists and therapists.
In 2026, Poppy launched the Level 7 Diploma in Advanced Dental Health and Business Strategy, an EduQual-accredited programme designed specifically for dental hygienists and therapists, bringing together advanced dental health, leadership, reflective practice and business development.
Poppy is passionate about raising the profile of dental hygiene and therapy, improving the standard of periodontal care and helping patients feel genuinely supported rather than simply “treated”.
