Zahra Akhtar

Zahra Akhtar is a dedicated dental hygienist with over 15 years of experience working in a variety of dental practices in Leeds and London. After graduating from King’s College London, she quickly established herself in the field, earning a reputation for her meticulous care and patient education working with patients with a range of different needs.

Zahra is passionate about fighting periodontal disease, focusing on both prevention and treatment. She is also trained and experienced in Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT), a cutting-edge method for managing biofilm and improving patient outcomes.

Outside of her professional life, Zahra enjoys traveling with her family, cooking, and baking. She loves exploring new cultures and cuisines, often experimenting with recipes from around the world. Her passion for travel and cooking brings joy and balance to her life, complementing her dedication to dental hygiene and patient care.
